Mid-size SUVs are all over the place. You’ll find them new and used at every car dealer you go to, but not every one of them is created equal. The Buick Enclave is a strong contender, and it’s even better for 2025 with updates inside and out.
Punch Power for Road Trips and Beyond
Every Enclave trim has a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine under its hood. It puts out 328 horsepower and uses an eight-speed automatic transmission to send power either to the front wheels or all four wheels.
You have a few trims to choose from with the Enclave, but the top-level Avenir offers the cushiest ride with adaptive dampening for the suspension. But no matter which trim you have, Buick’s QuietTuning technology keeps the ride quiet by reducing exterior road noise.
Look! No Hands!
One of the new features available for the 2025 Enclave is the option for GM’s Super Cruise hands-free driving technology. It’s the first Buick to get it, and you can add it no matter which trim you have. Super Cruise works on thousands of miles of roads, and when activated, you can take your hands of the wheel, your foot off the gas, and let the Enclave do the driving for you. Just keep your eyes on the road, or it will make you take over the driving responsibilities again.
In addition to Super Cruise, the Enclave has a full suite of advanced driver aids to help make driving easier and safer. Forward collision warning, automatic braking, adaptive cruise control, and intersection collision mitigation are all looking out for you while you’re on the road.
It’s a Nice Place to Sit
You’ll love how the Enclave looks when you see it at a Buick dealer, but it’s even better when you take a seat inside. Synthetic leather upholstery covers the seats giving it an upscale look, and the heated front seats and heated steering wheel help to keep you comfortable even when the temps drop. When you want the ultimate in luxury driving, take a look at the Avenir. It has premium leather upholstery, ventilated and massaging front seats, and driver’s seat memory settings.
Your second-row passengers will appreciate their heated seats in this trim, and when you need to open up the cargo area, the power-folding third row makes it quick and easy.
Technology Everywhere
Staying connected is so easy in the Enclave. A 30-inch display with a touchscreen for the infotainment system and digital display for the driver instrument panel stretches across the front. The infotainment system comes loaded with Google apps, including Maps and your Google Assistant.
If you want to connect your phone, there’s wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto to make it simple. If your family likes to crank up the volume when they take a road trip, the available 16-speaker Bose stereo system will make you feel like your favorite band is right there with you.
